Water Treatment Chemicals for Engineering & Manufacturing Plants

Automotive, tractor, fabrication and foundry plants use cooling towers and chillers for compressors, furnaces and moulding machines, boilers for paint-shop pre-treatment, and RO for process and rinse water. We supply programmes for each of these systems.

What we measure

Water Parameters We Watch

The readings that matter most in engineering and manufacturing plants — tracked from your first analysis through monthly reviews.

  • Closed-loop water qualityInduction coil circuits need clean, low-conductivity water — inhibitor choice must suit your furnace maker's specification.
  • Cooling tower hardness & scaling indexScale on exchangers trips compressors and furnaces.
  • Microbial countBiofilm in towers reduces heat transfer and blocks small cooling passages.
  • RO permeate conductivitySets rinse water quality for paint-shop lines.
  • Boiler feed hardnessHard water scales hot-water and steam generators quickly.
Common problems

What We Solve

  • Furnace and compressor overheatingScaled heat exchangers trip equipment and stop production lines.
  • Closed-loop corrosionChiller loops need inhibitor protection; induction coil circuits need clean, low-conductivity water.
  • Rinse-water qualityScaled RO membranes reduce rinse water quality for paint-shop lines.
  • New or overhauled boilersBoil-out before commissioning removes oil, grease and mill scale.

Questions

Engineering & Manufacturing FAQ

How do you protect induction furnace cooling circuits?

Coil circuits usually run on clean, low-conductivity water in a closed loop, with heat rejected to a cooling tower. We treat the open tower side for scale and biofouling and advise on closed-loop water quality and inhibitors compatible with your furnace maker's specification.

Our compressors trip on high temperature. Can water treatment help?

Often, yes. Scale and biofilm in intercoolers and aftercoolers reduce heat transfer; a cleaning step followed by a cooling tower programme usually restores it.

Do you supply chemicals for new or overhauled boilers?

Yes — our boil-out chemical removes oil, grease and mill scale before commissioning, and our liquid acid descaler is used during planned shutdowns.
